Colorado Dulcimer Contest
Why hold a dulcimer contest?
We have chosen to host this contest in order to provide an opportunity for students and players of both kinds of dulcimers to have an opportunity to prepare and polish some of their best tunes and perform them in a contest setting.

You can register for the Contest on the Registration Page, or by completely filling out the Contestant Registration Form (above) and mailing it with the appropriate fee.
The Deadline for on-line Contest Registration is Monday, January 28, 2008.
The Walk-Up Deadline is 8:00 am, Fri, Feb 1st for the Mountain Dulcimer Contest and 8:30 am, Fri, Feb 1st for the Hammered Dulcimer Contest.
Both contests will be held on Friday Morning, Feb. 1st, with Mountain Dulcimer being held first. The first place winner in both Contests will perform a tune for an Evening Concert during the festival. Other prizes will be announced later.
